Ronaldo Scores 1st Hat Trick – Recap of the Game
Ronaldo seems to have found his stride after he scored for the first time for Al Nassr last week. After Gerson Rodrigues hit the post for Al-Wehda at the other end, Ronaldo collected the through ball, went into the box and struck a low finish. A VAR check ruled that the goal was onside, giving Al Nassr a 1-0 lead.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner struck again minutes later, as he attacked the defence and struck between the legs of keeper Abduquddus Atiah to double the lead. After the break, he completed his hat-trick from the spot after a VAR check awarded the visitors a penalty. Eight minutes later, he tapped home after Atiah’s save to give him his first four-goal game since September 2019, where he helped Portugal defeat Lithuania 5-1.

Ronaldo Scores 1st Hat Trick – His and His Teammates’ Reactions
Ronaldo also took to social media to comment on his historic performance, saying it was “a great feeling” to score four goals in the win, and reach the 500 league goal mark.
The mood was euphoric, especially when Ronaldo opened the scoring. After scoring the opening goal, he did his trademark “SIUUU” jumping move. Al Nassr boss Rudi Garcia fist-pumped on the sidelines, while the rest of the team mobbed the superstar in celebration.
This comes on the heels of midfielder Gustavo commenting that Ronaldo’s arrival may have had an underwhelming start. “Certainly, the presence of Cristiano makes it difficult for us, as all teams seek to participate against him in the best possible way, and he gives motivation to everyone,” he said.
The former Bayern Munich man, however, praised the five-time Ballon d’Or as an athlete. “[Ronaldo’s] presence at Al-Nassr gives a great advantage to the group because we learn from him everyday, given the great capabilities he possesses, both technically and physically,” he added.
