Man City v Real Madrid UCL Prediction – Preview

Manchester City F.C.

Manchester City were able to hold the defending Champions League titlists to a draw on their own turf in the first leg. After Los Blancos grabbed a 1-0 lead at the half, Kevin De Bruyne levelled for The Cityzens after Ilkay Gundogan set him up at the edge of the box to finish into the bottom right corner. On the domestic front, the Pep Guardiola-led side are on the cusp of claiming the English Premier League title after going clear four points with three games left to play. Their last league match saw them defeat Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park, with Gundogan scoring a brace and Erling Haaland adding an extra goal. With a historic treble within their reach, could the Mancunians keep their cool and finally overcome Real Madrid in the UCL?

Real Madrid C.F.

Real Madrid missed an opportunity to go ahead in their semi-final tie at home when Man City held them to a 1-1 draw. Los Blancos got the Bernabeu crowd fired up late in the first half, when Luka Modric and Eduardo Camavinga combined in their own half, before the latter went up the pitch. He then  sets up Vinicius Jr. at the edge of the box, who then finishes into the top right corner. However, the excitement was short-lived when The Cityzens levelled after the break. At home, the Carlo Ancelotti-led side were unable to catch Barcelona at the La Liga table, with their rivals winning the title for the season. They however kept their winning ways as they saw off Getafe 1-0 thanks to Marco Asensio’s goal. With the prospect of retaining the UCL title being their last shot at glory this year, can they defeat the Man City powerhouse on their own turf?
