Arsenal v Brighton Prediction – Preview

Arsenal F.C.

Arsenal are currently seated 2nd in the Premier League table. Their last outing saw them dominate Newcastle United 2-0 at St. James’ Park. Captain Martin Odegaard struck low into the bottom right on 14 minutes to open the scoring. In the second half, Fabian Schar intercepted a pass by Gabriel Martinelli, but turns it into his own net to double the Gunners’ lead. Win the win, the Mikel Arteta-led side stay in the race for the premiership title with Manchester City. They, however, have to make every succeeding game count in order to lift the trophy. Next up is a Brighton side that have a shot at European football next season. Can the London-based side come through again?

Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.

Brighton & Hove Albion are now seated 7th in the league table. They suffered a slight setback when they bowed 1-5 to relegation side Everton at the Falmer Stadium. World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister scored the lone consolation goal for the Seagulls, as the Toffees dominated with braces each from Abdoulaye Doucoure and Dwight McNeil, plus an own goal by Jason Steele. The Roberto De Zerbi-led side remains unfazed, though, as they try to pursue a European slot in the league. But can they survive an Arsenal side that is hungrier for even greater glory?
